The Legend of About the Orgin of Tea (2)(Photos)

  Guys and gals,back here,glad to meet you again!Today,will tell you another story about the orgin of Chinese tea,come on!
  There is another legend about tea in Sichuan province.Long time ago,an old man living at the foot of Bashan Mountain,he raised a hen which laid an egg every day.However,there are a few days when he want to pick up the egg,he found nothing,the hen roost empty.Feeling puzzled.But could do nothing.

  One day he waited to watch the hen lay egg in the roost,when he want to pick it up,just this moment,he found that a snake stole the egg.The old man was very angry,but could do nothing yet."What can I do?"he said to himself.
  He have a good indea at last!

  What he want to do?The next day,he put a cobblestone in the hen roost and waited till he saw snake sawllow the egg down.The snake seemed very uncomfortable,and then,to the old man's surprise,it began to eat the fallen leaves of a tree beside the fence and the lump in its stomach gradually diappeared!The old man concluded that this was a precious tree,so whenever feeling bloated in his stomach,he would eat the leaves of this specious tree and would fell much better a moment later.From then on,if someone in the neighborhood suffered from indigestion,the old man would pluck some leaves from the tree for them.For years,people gradually found that the leaves on this tree could only help digestion,but alos quench thirst and refresh themselves.

There are many legends about the origin of tea.Among all those legends,the most popular one is about Shengnong(神农,the legendary inventor of agriculture and Chinese medicine).It is said that about 5000 years ago,in order to cure people's deseases,Shennong tested the medical properities of various herbs,and to lay down under a tree.

  Suddenly,the wind blew and a leaf fell from the tree,with strong aroma.Shennong picked it up and chewed it in this mouth.To his supprise,this aroma leaf served as an antidote and he was cured from the poisonous berbs.And this leaf was just the tea leaf that became familiar to exeryone later.From then on ,Shennong held the opinion that tea had the funtion of detoxication and had high curative value,thus introduced it to the Chinese people.

What is Phoenix Oolong?

    Yesterday,a client came to our tea shop,I drewed a Phoenix Oolong tea,he was shocked by the fragrant.So he asked me what tea is it,it is so rich mouth filling floral aroma and taste.I told him,it is Phoenix Oolong tea,some people also called it Dan Cong Oolong tea or Fan Huang Oolong tea(Chinese:凤凰).
    
    There are three main regions produce Oolong tea. Taiwan, Fujing province and Guangdong province. Phoenix oolong is produce at Guangdong province only.we harvest directly from the planter.So it have rich fragrance and taste.
    Why people called this Oolong tea is Phoenix oolong also called Dan Cong. Dan Cong means single brush. The farmer only harvest the leaves and produce tea from a single brush. Each brush will product a different character, flavor, and taste of tea.
